Lines is thrilled to host Boston Dance Theater company member Khris Henry for a master class in contemporary dance!

Contemporary with Khris focuses on self-expression, spatial awareness, the use of body weight, efficiency of muscle usage, and body alignment. Class starts with a comprehensive warm-up, using language from classical and modern dance forms. Next, we will add in street style fundamentals specifically in Krump, while including improvisational prompts to encourage and further movement exploration that will gradually build up to an elaborate style of choreography. Class is geared towards artists with a strong foundation in movement who are open to a new approach.
