This ALL-LEVELS TRANS-&-QUEER FRIENDLY DANCE CLASS (Terrified beginners welcome!) led by Sean Dorsey and Sean Dorsey Dance Company. This class is super-friendly, playful and designed to be extra-supportive of transgender, non-binary, gender-nonconforming, queer and allied bodies in creative expression! All-gender bathrooms are available.

Sean Dorsey is an Emmy Award-winning choreographer, dancer, writer, educator, and activist. Long recognized as the U.S.’ first acclaimed transgender modern dance choreographer, Dorsey brings his newest work—and his explicitly trans-positive pedagogy—for his Performing Arts Series debut.
The Middlebury College Dance Program seeks to develop the creative artist and artist/scholar through critical study and regular practice in contemporary, world dance techniques; improvisation and choreography; history, theory, and cultural studies; experiential anatomy and kinesiology; and performance.
Along with classes, the Middlebury Dance Program hosts a series of master classes and workshops that are free and open to the public. Artists are brought in from all over the world to share their perspective and put into practice the notion that Movement Matters.
