“Shimmering Site,” a new interdisciplinary performance that explores themes within UVM’s Planetary Health Initiative, which describes "whole health” as "physical, mental, social, spiritual, community, and ecological well-being.” The performance reimagines Cohen Hall for the Integrative Creative Arts as a place for experiential possibilities of this wholeness, creating a performative bridge that examines Earth and the body as a shimmering sight/site. Choreographed and directed by Julian Barnett, in collaboration with performers, the performance features an ensemble cast of UVM Theatre and Dance performers, original live music from UVM alum Koa Ritz, and immersive projection design by Alex Reeves of Vanish Works.
