The Man Who Thought He Knew Too Much: Wes Anderson meets Hitchcock meets Spaghetti Western in this acrobatic, inter-genre, cinematic caper of accusations, accidents and accents. Voloz Collective originally conceived this piece in 2019, while they were Resident Artists at The Sable Project. They are now returning to the Food & Art Stage to share what has become a multi-award winning piece!
Voloz Collective is an international physical theater company. They were brought together by two years of study at L’École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. Voloz is passionate about making physical theatre that is fast-paced, immediate, and visceral. Rather than engaging audiences' rational brains, they ignite audiences’ imaginations with a whirlwind of images and sounds, to tell stories that can be understood emotionally before they are understood intellectually.
Their creation process is uniquely non-hierarchical structure; all four members work collaboratively to write, direct, act, produce, and design their shows.
This event is a part of The Sable Project's Food & Art Performance Series. It will also feature wood-fired pizza from Fat Dragon Farm, and a brand new work-in-progress by Voloz.
