Alexis received a BA in Dance and Biology from Oberlin College, an MAT from The University of Vermont, and is currently finishing an MFA in Dance at MSU.  She is a licensed dance teacher, a Vermont Teaching Artist, and has continued her dance training for the past 15 years focusing on multi-cultural dance forms and modern dance, and improvisation.  

Alexis is the fine arts dance director and dance coach at Bellows Free Academy St. Albans where she has been teaching jazz, modern and hip hop since 2010. In addition to her work with the BFA dance and drama department, her choreography has also been performed at UVM, the Flynn Theatre, Spielpalast Cabaret, Burlington Quadra-centennial Celebration, Jeh Kulu Drum and Dance Festival, and Bates Dance Festival.
