Erica Raff
BIO:

Erica uses they/them pronouns and has been dancing and performing since the age of 3. They are trained in various forms of dance, theater, and vocal training. They also completed a dance minor at The University of Vermont (UVM) where they have gotten the opportunity to work with various choreographers from throughout the country. Erica has participated in and had work shown in the American College Dance Festival Association conferences. Through the UVM dance program they also performed and participated in a dance exchange in China. Erica has performed with Bryce Dance Company, Spielpalast Cabaret, and Dream City Dance Company. Currently they are a part of merde! Dance company, Paula Higga Dance & Ers, and dance for local band Mal Maiz. They also enjoy spinning fire with Burlington Burn Club when the season is right! They are passionate about using improvisational dance as a form of transformative social work. To Erica, this means using movement to help question, deconstruct, feel and make meaning of our experiences in life to help live better lives and be able to give back to our communities in meaningful ways.
