Isadora Snapp
BIO:

Isadora has been teaching, performing, and creating work in Central Vermont since 2010. Based out of Barre, she teaches classes in Montpelier at Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio and has taught at several other Vermont studios over the years. Those studios include Dance Works Academy, Ballet Wolcott, and Stowe Dance Academy.

Her main focus as a teacher has been Ballet for the past several years. She is passionate about bringing the artistry and discipline of classical ballet to non-ballet focused dancers. In addition to classical ballet, she teaches contemporary ballet, modern, and jazz. As a mover and choreographer, modern is her true home.

Isadora is a co-founder of the Montpelier Movement Project, a collaborative group that has continued to shift and adapt as needed. She is also a Co-Director of the Teen Jazz Company, which the student company affiliated with the Contemporary Dance and Fitness Studio - along with Rosemary Leach. In addition to teaching, she enjoys collaborating with other artists to create evening-length dance works. These have included: With Women, DUST, Catching a Glimpse, and Thursdays from 7:00-9:00.

Considering the current times, her practice has shifted dramatically. Currently, Isadora is offering virtual Private lessons in addition to her regular teaching schedule. Visit her website for more information.
